Scared of the baseball? Let’s fix it together.
Get your eyes, body, and confidence back in the box. A parent-guided confidence course that helps young players take small safe brave steps back toward seeing, choosing, and hitting.

★12UYou create safety.
Your player owns the next step.
Every day is short and predictable. You set up the space and the equipment; your player chooses the level: an easier step, a repeat of today, or the next step. Nobody advances because a calendar says so, and nobody has to face live pitching to finish.
“You are in control of the next safe step.” “Taking is a skill.” “We can repeat this level.” Skip “don’t be scared,” “just stand in there,” and any comparison to teammates.
Player 13 or older? The athlete-led version for ages 12–21 is at Athletic Hitting Development’s Scared of the Baseball Fix.
What your player will work on
- 01A calm, athletic stance and a reset routine they can use anywhere
- 02Seeing the ball early and owning the choice to take or swing
- 03Safe, controlled contact, starting from the tee and gentle toss
- 04A simple plan for going back to practice and games
Four weeks. Thirty small brave steps.
Repeat any day whenever it helps. Readiness, not the calendar, decides when to move on. Days 1–3 are free to try.

Finish with a short reflection: what helped, what your player can now do, and the next practice setting that fits. Then keep the confidence going for the next seven days:
- 2×Tracking sessions: see the ball early, take with confidence
- 2×Controlled-contact sessions: tee or gentle toss, balanced finish
- 1×Approach review: reset cue, pre-at-bat plan, readiness check
