Parent questions
What does this game teach?
Pitchers throw different pitches in different counts. When a pitcher is behind, a fast strike is coming more often. When a pitcher has two strikes, tricky pitches show up. Kids learn to read the count and be ready for the right pitch.
Is it free and safe for my child?
Yes. It’s free, it runs in a phone or computer browser, there’s no sign-up and nothing is shared. Scores stay on your device.
Why are there practice pitches?
The first time a player plays, they get 10 practice pitches with hints to learn the buttons. After that, 5 warm-up pitches. Practice never counts toward the score.
Does it work for softball?
Yes. Switch to softball for a windmill pitcher at youth softball distance.
