Most young hitters are taught the swing and nothing else. But seeing the pitch, timing it and deciding to swing or take are skills too, and they grow fastest with short, fun practice. This guide collects everything on 46/60 Academy about seeing the ball and making good decisions.

Can kids really train how they see the ball?
Yes. Tracking the ball, recognizing speed and spin, and deciding quickly all improve with practice, especially with short, game-like reps.
How long should my child play the 46/60 games?
A few minutes a day is plenty. Short, frequent practice works better than long sessions.
Why does my child swing at bad pitches?
Usually they don’t have a clear picture of the zone yet, or they decide too late. A simple plan and strike-or-ball practice help.
